Bird with Wildflowers in Watercolor
DATE: Saturday 3/29/25 TIME: 10:00am - 2:00pm
In this class you will paint a bird with wildflowers. You will learn how to sketch a bird and compose a simple drawing. We will then complete a Bird and Wildflower watercolor painting. You will learn watercolor techniques for wings, flowers and leaves. All skill levels welcome!
Materials are not included. Please bring the following to the class:
- watercolor paints in a variety of colors
- watercolor paper pad, 9x12"
- watercolor brushes of varying sizes - round and flat, small and medium sizes
- pencil for sketching (mechanical pencils are fine)
- Kneaded eraser
- Painters art tape to hold down edges. (This helps when you paint a sky, so it will not curl up after wetting)
- Optional- small water spray bottle to keep your paints wet
- Optional- watercolor foam board 11x14" to tape down your paper. (This helps when you paint a sky, tape it down so it will not curl up after wetting)
