Join artist Andrea Patton to paint the the wildflower of the year, Carolina Jessamine. You will learn watercolor techniques to make your painting bloom. Beginners and experienced painters welcome! Preregistration is required.
What to Bring:
Supplies are not included. Please bring the following to class:
- 2-3 pieces watercolor paper, minimum size 5 x 7" or larger. 140 lb cold press preferred (recommend watercolor block)
- 3 small round brushes size 1, 2 and 3
- 2 medium round brushes size 6 and 8
- 1 medium round mop style brush size 18 or 20
- Watercolor red, blue, yellow, green and black (recommend Winsor & Newton or Daniel Smith)
- Small ULTRA fine black sharpie marker
- Art tape and foam core board to tape watercolor paper (if you do not bring block paper)
- Pencil for sketching
- Eraser - Kneaded is preferable.
