Homeschool Day: The Water Cycle and Our Aquifer

DATE: Wednesday 11/19/25   TIME: 10:00am - 11:30am

The Water Cycle and Our Aquifer - Learn about the water cycle and how it impacts Central Texas aquifers and geology.

Is your homeschool learner ready to become an Ecologist? Join us as we investigate the natural world during Homeschool Days at the Wildflower Center! Each homeschool day will have a different science and nature theme, with TEK-aligned lessons designed for 2nd-6th grade level learners (8-12 year olds). Families will have fun exploring hands on activities and experiments, and will get to look for evidence of what they've learned in our gardens. Homeschoolers will build on their observational skills, practice data collection, learn about cause and effect in nature, and expand their curiosity. Activities will take place inside and outside in our gardens.

$20 per child (one day)

$15 per adult (one day)

Wildflower Center members receive a discount!

Registration is required to attend. Homeschoolers must be accompanied by an adult during the program. Register early as space is limited. Registration can be made for individual dates or all three.
